The Shiba Inu Community made a marked statement in the past 24 hours, burning an astounding 25.6 million SHIB tokens. Through multiple transactions, the Community was able to reduce the overall circulating supply. The most significant change was executed by SHIB Super Store who, during its 52nd burn event, sent 9.5 million SHIB tokens to the dead wallet. In addition, this project rewarded the Community by distributing 9.4 million SHIB tokens. The SHIB Super Store has committed to burning and rewarding the Community since November 2021 and has burned a total of 3.48 billion SHIB tokens. This action follows a series of massive burns from the Community when in March 2023; 6.78 billion SHIB were collectively burned. Despite the magnitude of the destruction, the overall SHIB burn rate decreased by 20.03%. The Shiba Inu Community's actions further prove its commitment to achieving project goals and popularizing SHIB as a cryptocurrency.
