MrBeast, an American YouTuber, philanthropist, and investor in cryptocurrencies, has come a long way in terms of his investments and portfolio. Up to date, his cryptocurrency portfolio seems to include at least $2 million dollars worth of Bitcoin, eight CryptoPunk NFTs, and VeeFriends NFTs from Gary Vaynerchuk.

In 2021, MrBeast made some big investments and backed different crypto projects. In his interview on the YouTube channel Flagrant, he spoke about the time where his home was robbed and the robber neglected taking his Bitcoin that was stored on his computer. He remarked that the robber was a “f**king moron.” Later, MrBeast also revealed that he had invested in XCAD Network and earned profits of twenty to thirty times.

In September 2021, in one of his talks alongside social media personality Logan Paul, reportedly, he had already pre-purchased eight CryptoPunk NFTs and invested in VeeFriends. Also, in partnership with crypto trading platform Coinbase, he had given users the opportunity to make $10-worth of Bitcoin and gave them a chance to win up to $100,000 in Bitcoin.

Despite the investments, however, not all of them were viewed as good decisions. At one point, MrBeast also backed Refinable (FINE), which critics said was a scam and declined in value. This situation resembled the recent controversy with Kim Kardashian, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Paul Pierce being accused of the promotion of EthereumMax (EMAX).

Apart from the accusations and controversies, the list of celebrities and influencers investing in cryptocurrencies is ever-increasing and includes the likes of Matt Damon, Snoop Dogg, and Cristiano Ronaldo, in addition to prior-mentioned, MrBeast, Kim Kardashian, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Paul Pierce.
