In the last hour, whales have been spotted buying Shiba Inu (SHIB) crypto assets in huge amounts. According to data shared by Etherscan, about 35 billion SHIB tokens have been moved across 4 transactions. The largest transaction comprised 10.37 billion SHIB tokens, whereas the second transaction was of the same size, meanwhile the third and fourth transactions moved 11 and 2.1 billion SHIB respectively. These transactions were originated from Coinbase wallets.

The SHIB price has been trying to recover since the previous day, when the digital asset encountered a 3.7% drop in value. Over the course of the day, the price has risen 1.57% on the Binance exchange. The SHIB price is currently in the $0.00001091 range, where it has been since last week.

In other news, Shibarium testnet Puppynet achieved two major milestones. Lucie Sasnikova, a SHIB influencer, tweeted that the number of total transactions surpassed the 2.2 million mark, while the daily transaction count skyrocketed to almost a million. Furthermore, the number of wallets connected to the Shibarium testnet is 365 282.

Overall, SHIB is at an upward trend despite the recent price dip, supported by the whale activity and Shibarium's impressive progress. This may open up potential opportunities for ordinary investors to join the ride and be part of SHIB's growth in the near future.
