The rising demand for digital asset protection has prompted service providers Wert and Avata to launch a new NFT warranty service. It is intended to safeguard collectors' investments from smart contract hacks and offer up to 90% of the token's value in the event of a breach. Wert's CEO, George Basiladze, noted that there is a need to bridge the trust gap and build confidence among non-cryptocurrency users to attract them to the Web3 realm. The optional warranty service is available on about 80 digital asset platforms and will cost 6% of the asset's buying price. The NFT market is projected to grow to 40 million transactions by 2027, with 25% of NFT owners already possessing 51 or more digital assets. By providing a sense of security and trust, the NFT warranty service will likely lead to widespread adoption of nonfungible tokens and digital asset technologies in the future.
