Aptos Labs recently announced a grant program that will allocate $20 million to artists and creatives from various mediums willing to utilize the company's blockchain infrastructure. The money comes in an attempt to differentiate itself from other powerful chains and scaling solutions such as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon and Cosmos. This grant program serves as another avenue for Aptos to increase the number of people and projects that engage with and build on their chain.

Aptos has already made considerable investments and partnerships in the blockchain world. Just recently, their investments landed them a partnership with the popular Indian social media app Chingari, a competitor of TikTok that plans to use Aptos' blockchain.

Any artist interested in the grant can apply to the Aptos Foundation; the company promises to provide both financial support and necessary infrastructure to make the most of the company's ecosystem. Although the $20 million is a sizable number, the company has already given out $3 million to artist and creators working towards web3 projects using their chain.

The Andreessen Horowitz-backed Aptos continues to make a name for itself with their developer-friendly programming language originally created by tech giant Meta’s Novi team. The blockchain is an ever-evolving technology, and many companies look to stay ahead of the curve by investing in the technology and expanding the host of creatives and projects available. The $20 million is the next step in this journey, and Aptos seeks to reach millions with this grant program.
