This week, eligible organizations will receive the full initial token release of Arbitrum, an open-source protocol used for decentralized governing and asset management. To ensure the security and reliability of the ARB token distribution, the protocol will conduct necessary tests on the wallets of their vault before making the airdrop. This allocation for the airdrop does not come from any of the Arbitrum DAO or Foundation's wallets, instead it is part of the initial token distribution that was reserved until the organization's wallets are verified. Furthermore, these tokens will not be used to vote for any current snapshot proposals.

A points system was established for determining the amount of tokens available for each recipient. This scoring system takes into consideration the users’ achievements on Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova by awarding points for each applicable action prior to the snapshot date. To qualify for the airdrop, users need to earn a minimum of 4 points, while those who outperform the given task can get up to 15 points. A maximum of one point can be added to the score of a user if they already have four points. Nevertheless, any point beyond the 15th points will not be accepted, emphasizing the importance of performing tasks accurately within the given frame of timeline.

It is important to note that this airdrop is not a grant, but only 1.13% of the total token distribution. Therefore, all users are strongly encouraged to perform their research and understand the complete details of the airdrop before getting involved. This will help the users make an informed decision and ultimately reduce their risk of ending up in a bad investment situation.
