Binance is making a stride to drive mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency payments with its reliable and secure Binance Pay platform. The world-leading cryptocurrency exchange has recently forged a partnership with Lithuania-based fintech company CoinGate, to allow customers to use Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a payment method. Both companies are working together to make it easy for users to make payments at over two hundred merchants powered by CoinGate. Prior to this partnership, Binance has collaborated with other merchants to enable them accept Shiba Inu payments with their Binance Pay solution.

The list of merchants taking Shiba Inu payments includes Varus, a Ukrainian food chain retailer, and the Middle East’s largest shopping mall Majid Al Futtaim. In addition, ticketing platform Entertix also enabled customers to make payments with SHIB. Binance Pay currently supports over seventy cryptocurrencies, among which include Bitcoin, Binance Coin and Ethereum. As of today, any Binance user will have access to a wider range of payment options at CoinGate merchants across the globe.

CoinGate has been working to foster cryptocurrency adoption as a payment method since its launch in 2014. To increase its reach, the company has partnered with many merchants, both small and medium enterprises. Through their platform, merchants have the ability to accept payments in over seventy crypto including SHIB.

With the recent partnership between Binance and CoinGate, users now have access to a wide range of merchants who accept Shiba Inu payments. Through Binance Pay, users can make contactless, borderless and secure payments for goods and services using cryptocurrencies. This partnership is yet another step towards Binance’s goal of taking cryptocurrency payments mainstream.
