Swedish music tech startup Corite is hosting a sale of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) that give fans a chance to get their hands on British rapper Central Cee’s hits. The sale organizer is top producer Young Chencs, and the hits included in the sale are 6-for-6 and Little Bit of This. In order to get exclusive access to the presale, to be held on April 26th, fans will be able to earn loyalty points, represented as Fan Power, through exclusive Missions.

Corite is a Web3 fan engagement platform that allows both emerging and established artists to raise funds for their music releases without giving away any of their IP rights or the majority of their profits. Through the platform, Corite helps artists with marketing, community building and music distribution. With well-known collaborations with the likes of DJ Alan Walker, Emery Kelly and producer of Beyonce and Usher, Rico Love, Corite’s CO Blockchain platform has appealed to an impressive 100,000 users. Any artist can apply on Corite’s website to receive marketing, promotion and development aid, alongside help with creating Missions.

Missions are activities from which an artist or Corite receives a Return on Investment as compensation for their Value or creativity. This can range from making sure more people hear a new song, to designing an artist’s logo or inventing a new dance for Tik Tok.

The collaboration between Young Chencs and Corite co-founder & COO Emelie Olsson has been praised for this groundbreaking initiative. Young Chencs says, “providing listeners with the chance to invest in music is a significant gamechanger for me. As an artist, it can be hard to make a living, so this is a great opportunity for fellow artists and producers.” Olsson adds, “it is essential to create more equitable and democratic ways for fans to connect with the music they love and to reward the audio-creators for their hard work. I’m excited to partner with Young Chencs to make this happen.”
