Developers on the Ethereum layer-2 network Ronin will have access to an AI agent tool to enhance their games. The integration with NRN Agents will begin with a proof-of-concept demonstration in February and will be rolled out across the gaming ecosystem. The AI tool aims to bring new levels of immersion to games. Players will be invited to play AI Arena, a fighting game developed by ArenaX, to generate data for training reinforcement learning agents. These agents learn based on reward or punishment, unlike the traditional imitation learning agents. NRN Agents plans to distribute the NRN gaming SDK to game studios on the network and offers the potential for AI-powered non-playable characters and AI competitions. This move aligns with Illuvium's plans to integrate AI agents into its games to enhance non-playable characters.
