Asset tokenization platform Securitize has partnered with Wormhole to launch a blockchain interoperability solution that allows for cross-network transfers of institutional tokenized funds. The integration enables funds tokenized on Securitize's platform to move seamlessly across multiple networks, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, Ethereum, Optimism's OP Mainnet, and Polygon. Wormhole, which has facilitated over $55 billion in cross-chain transactions since 2020, will serve as the exclusive interoperability layer for Securitize's clients, which include Blackrock, KKR, and Hamilton Lane. The partnership aims to address institutional demand for multichain flexibility and enable investors to transfer tokenized assets between networks while maintaining compliance and security. Securitize manages tokenized assets worth over $1.5 billion, and the collaboration with Wormhole's infrastructure is expected to support future growth in cross-chain institutional products.
