Ubisoft, the renowned gaming brand, is set to release a new series of avatars for the Ethereum metaverse game The Sandbox. These avatars are based on the original blockchain game, Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, released by Ubisoft. The NFT avatars will be available on the Ethereum scaling network Polygon and will be sold for 170 SAND ($88) for those on the allowlist and 180 SAND ($93) for the public sale. In addition to the avatars, buyers will also receive three champions characters for use in Champions Tactics. Ubisoft has previously collaborated with The Sandbox and released characters from the Netflix series "Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix." Ubisoft's involvement in the Web3 world extends beyond gaming, including investments, partnerships, and support for startups.
