Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has received a MiCA license from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), making it one of the first major crypto exchanges to achieve regulatory approval under the European Union's licensing framework. This license allows Crypto.com to offer its services across the European Economic Area. The company's president and COO, Eric Anziani, stated that securing the license was part of their global expansion strategy and they plan to promote regulated cryptocurrency adoption in Europe. In addition to this news, Crypto.com also announced its new Custody Services for institutional clients in the US, Canada, and globally. Furthermore, Crypto.com has obtained licenses from various regulators around the world since its establishment in 2016.
