Argo Blockchain, a publicly listed miner, has entered into a hosting arrangement with Merkle Standard to host 5,293 miners in Tennessee and install 2,500 miners in Quebec. The company is also refurbishing its miners previously operated at the Helios facility. The deployment of the new miners will increase Argo's hashrate progressively through February. Meanwhile, Argo's CEO, Thomas Chippas, will step down from his position in February 2025, after overseeing significant financial improvements. Argo recently secured £4.2 million through a share subscription to support its initiatives, including expanding into high-performance computing.
