The AI market has experienced a crypto crash, with major tokens like GRIFFAIN, GRIFT, and FARTCOIN plummeting by as much as 30%. The total market cap for AI tokens has fallen by more than 10%, slipping from over $41 billion to $37 billion overnight. FARTCOIN has seen a 30% decrease in the past 24 hours and over 53% in the past week, trading at $0.96. Other tokens like VIRTUALS, GRIFFAIN, BUZZ, and NEUR have also experienced significant drops. Despite expectations that AI tokens would lead the crypto markets in 2025, both the AI and DeFAI sectors are off to a rough start this year.
