Investment manager BlackRock has purchased $1 billion worth of Bitcoin, bringing its total Bitcoin investments to $60.6 billion. This milestone was influenced by its largest Bitcoin purchase of the year on January 22. BlackRock now holds 572,616 Bitcoins, which is equivalent to 2.7% of the total Bitcoin supply. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) continues to dominate the ETF sector, with a net inflow of $155.69 million on January 24 and cumulative inflows reaching $39.73 billion. The firm remains optimistic about Bitcoin adoption and CEO Larry Fink predicts Bitcoin prices could reach $500,000 to $700,000 per BTC. Despite BlackRock's actions, Bitcoin's price has dipped below $100,000, currently trading at $99,090.
