He also mentioned that the digital ruble would be beneficial for entrepreneurs conducting foreign economic activity amid Western sanctions. President Putin has supported the digital ruble proposal and called for the necessary regulations to implement it. The digital ruble is expected to be part of the federal budget system and targeted for nationwide launch and adoption by July.
