The value of tokenized Real World Assets (RWA) has surpassed $20 billion, with private credit being the most rapidly tokenized asset. This growth has been driven by the need for liquidity in the industry. Tokenization of RWA is unregulated, with each platform deciding its own format and approach. Moody's predicts that private credit will expand to $3 trillion in assets under management (AUM) by 2028. DigiFT has partnered with Ivesco USA to launch a platform for tokenized senior secured loans. Kadena has announced a $25 million RWA Grant Program to accelerate the adoption of tokenized assets. Other leading issuers of tokenized RWA include Securitize and Apollo Global Management. US entrepreneur Balaji Srinivasan suggests that equity-backed security tokens backed by established companies could bring additional investments. Tokenized stocks currently have a market capitalization of around $15 million. RWA tokens have seen a recent revival in value, outperforming other sectors in the past 30 days. However, altcoins are still relatively weaker.
