The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided to withdraw its appeal in a lawsuit regarding its dealer rule expansion. The move comes after a Texas court ruled against the rule, deeming it disconnected from existing laws. The lawsuit was originally filed by the Blockchain Association and the Crypto Freedom Alliance of Texas (CFAT) in April 2024.
