XRP Ledger, XRPL Labs and Xumm have teamed up for the launch of unhosted.exchange, a brand new browser-based DEX running on the XRP Ledger. Unhosted.exchange is a mirror of the XRPL native DEX and was launched in an early access stage to Xumm Pro users. It aims to introduce secure and frictionless trading to users who prefer to trade through a browser instead of their ordinary wallets. The product is to be open to the general public in May.

The decentralized exchange is available on all major web browsers and comes with a clean interface, allowing users to buy, sell and carry out trades for any asset on XRPL without the need for a central authority. As users enjoy secure trading, they also benefit from 24/7 customer support from Xumm and take advantage of trading on custom pairs. And as an added bonus, they can also access the platform free of extra fees.

The launch of unhosted.exchange is part of a bigger effort carried out by the Xumm team to enhance trading experience on the XRP Ledger. Recently, the team also announced their integration of Stably as a xApp, raising a huge opportunity for American users to buy Stably-USD using US Dollars through their own XRPL accounts. This current development is just an addition to this initiative.

And with the launch of unhosted.exchange, the XRP Ledger team has leveraged on modern technology to bring a much needed update to the native DEX launched by the platform since its launch in 2012. With the web-based DEX, users are now able to enjoy full access to their favorite DEX without any restriction.
