Bitcoin's difficulty level has steadily increased over the past 41 days, now reaching an all-time high of 47.89 trillion. This increased difficulty makes it even more difficult for miners to find blocks and requires them to execute an estimated 47.89 trillion computations in order to prove their block. Foundry USA, one of the main Bitcoin mining companies, was responsible for 34.34% of the network hashpower, and Antpool for 20.52%, during the latest 41 day period. Despite the increase in difficulty, the global hashrate is still high at a current 340.61 EH/s and it taking around eight minutes and 29 seconds to nine minutes and eight seconds to find a block. With Bitcoin reaching its all-time high in difficulty, the successful discovery of blocks is proving more difficult than ever before.
