Papa Johns, the global pizza chain, has recently announced their partnership with OneRare to create the first ever NFT Foodverse. This digital ecosystem allows players to collect items from the Papa Johns food menu and to create their own favorite pizzas. Moving further into the future, Papa Johns plans to allow real life benefits and applications to these digital collections. As part of this new venture, players can access the digital world of Papa Johns via the platform of OneRare. A tentative launch date of the program is set for this Tuesday.

The foodverse is set up on Polygon, allowing players to access more secure and economical operations. The three pizzas exclusive to the foodverse post-launch will be highly collectible and also allow people to receive rewards on their collections. At the moment, Papa Johns and OneRare are working towards allowing these collections to be swapped with real pizza.

The partnership with UAE-based Papa Johns came about as their CEO, Tapan Vaidya, wanted to explore innovative technologies such as Web3 and NFTs. His goal was to attract the current generation of customers by offering them cutting edge experiences. On the other hand, OneRare's founder, Supreet Raju, has commented on the wider merits of the project and how holders of the NFTs can eventually swap their collections for a real meal at the Papa Johns restaurants.

The account creation on OneRare is made incredibly easy, allowing those to login with their Google ID, Social Media accounts or even just providing some details for sign up. Altogether, the new foodverse shows the incredible possibilities of combining the digital world and the physical one, and how Papa Johns is now at the forefront of the industry. Starbucks and other brands are also following suit with similar digital ventures.
