According to Bloomberg analysts, there are spot ETF applications being made for altcoins such as XRP, Litecoin (LTC) and Solana (SOL). The analysts believe that the Litecoin ETF has a higher chance of approval than the SOL and XRP ETFs. It is speculated that the SEC may announce on February 13 that it is evaluating Grayscale's spot XRP ETF application. If approved, this could be a significant step for XRP as it would join the ranks of Bitcoin and Ethereum with spot ETFs. The chance of approval for an XRP ETF this year is estimated to be around 65% by Bloomberg analysts. The approval of the ETF is unlikely until the ongoing Ripple lawsuit is resolved.
