Coinbase has announced that it will be listing two memecoins, Popcat (SOL) and Pudgy Penguins (PENGU), on its platform. Both tokens operate on the Solana network. Coinbase has recently added these tokens and MORPHO to its roadmap for listing. The exchange's decision to list memecoins aligns with a trend of cryptocurrency exchanges listing these tokens due to their high trading volume and commission income. Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has also recently expressed support for centralized exchanges listing as many tokens as decentralized exchanges, marking a change in his previous conservative listing policy.
