This move comes as NFTs have lost popularity, with the market showing a significant decline since early 2022. The coin is expected to launch on the Base blockchain and a portion of its supply will be designated for LinksDAO NFT holders. The club recently purchased a golf course in Scotland and is in the process of becoming a minority owner of a second course in Kansas City. The acquisition of the courses and the launch of the community token are subject to approval from LinksDAO's NFT-holding members, who have voting power.
