ERM LABS, a Web3 accelerator, has entered the Metaverse sector in collaboration with The Sandbox. The respective partnership focuses on the creation and design of digital escape rooms within the 12 x 12 land plot of The Sandbox. A number of gaming studios will work towards developing architectural designs, game puzzles, digital products, digital infrastructure, and game logic, and offering an immersive experience to the offline escape room players.

The Metaverse is defined as a digitally interconnected and immersive existence, blurring the boundaries between the digital and physical worlds. In order to contribute to the reshaping of Escape Rooms 3.0 and recognize IP ownership, ERM LABS is offering Metaverse and Web 3.0-based disruptive solutions. The intention is to create an offline-to-online (O2O), on-chain creator-driven, and integrated experience.

Through this alliance, ERM LABS and The Sandbox aim to promote genuine digital ownership as well as a creator economy, with each platform providing a mutual synergy. In addition, Wing Wu, the founder of ERM LABS, believes that the establishment of this collaboration enables individuals to successfully transition from physical to digital experiences. The company is also looking forward to introducing more innovations within the Metaverse in the near future.
