The past week has seen a significant increase in the amount of Ethereum (ETH) burned by DeFi projects. According to data from Phoenix Group, the top Ethereum burner projects during this period were Metamask, Aave, and 1inch. Metamask led the way with 89.2 ETH burned, followed by Aave with 74.6 ETH and 1inch with 64.1 ETH. Other projects that made it to the list include Uniswap, 0x Protocol, Pendle, Kyber Network, ParaSwap, Ondo, and Tokenlon. The total value of ETH burned by these projects amounts to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
