The suspects were involved in a large-scale scam operation and attempted to delete data from their phones. Further investigations revealed evidence of human trafficking operations and counterfeit product sales. The arrests demonstrate the traceability of USDT and the ability to apprehend criminals involved in illicit activities. The investigation is ongoing, with possible accomplices yet to be arrested. This is not the first scam operation involving Chinese nationals outside of China.
