Former U.S. Supreme Court lawyer, Tom Goldstein, has been arrested for a second time in connection with alleged undisclosed cryptocurrency transactions worth millions of dollars. Prosecutors claim that these transactions indicate an attempt to hide assets and avoid legal consequences. Goldstein, who was previously indicted on charges of tax evasion and financial misconduct, retired in 2023 and pleaded not guilty to the initial charges. However, new evidence shows that he received and transferred significant amounts of cryptocurrency in violation of his pretrial release conditions.
