In the past twelve hours, Whale Alert, a blockchain tracker, has detected three large Bitcoin transfers totaling over half a billion dollars. The transfers involved major US-based crypto exchange Kraken, with a total of $641.8 million worth of Bitcoin moved in three transactions. The first transfer was a withdrawal from Kraken to an anonymous wallet, while the other two were deposits to the exchange. In other news, financial expert and author Robert Kiyosaki, known for "Rich Dad Poor Dad," revealed that he recently bought more Bitcoin, citing it as a smarter and safer investment compared to saving dollars. Retail investors have also been purchasing Bitcoin at a faster rate, with a daily accumulation of 10,627 BTC, equivalent to $1,055,958,762. As of writing, Bitcoin is trading at around $97,890 per coin, showing a 2.5% increase in the past 24 hours.
