Binance Smart Chain has reached a milestone of over 500 million unique active addresses, coinciding with the launch of the TST meme coin. Initially created for educational purposes, TST experienced a significant surge in value, reaching an all-time high before dropping. The token's popularity likely contributed to the increase in active addresses. However, the rise in activity has also highlighted the network's vulnerability to Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) issues, such as front-running and sandwich attacks. Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has recently addressed the MEV issue and asked for input from the community on how to address it.
