StepMania is a new fitness tracking application available on Telegram that rewards users with in-game benefits for their physical activity. The app integrates with Apple Health and Google Health Connect and offers leaderboards, squad challenges, and influencer-hosted tournaments. Similar to Stepn, StepMania does not require users to purchase an NFT to earn rewards. Currently, players can earn in-game coins and raffle tickets, which can be entered into a drawing for a chance to win real-world prizes. The developers of StepMania have confirmed that they plan to launch a token in the future, as they are required to do so under a recent exclusivity agreement with Telegram's Open Network. The app is backed by The Open Platform (TOP) and intends to expand through partnerships with TON-based projects, brands, events, and wearable companies.
