Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano (ADA), predicts that the United States will become a leading adopter of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology within the next five years. He believes that various government operations such as voting, purchasing, payments, identification systems, and central banking could all be integrated with blockchain technology. Hoskinson suggests that once the US makes this move, other countries will follow suit. He also mentions the importance of interoperability if the US implements blockchain-based systems, which could encourage 20 to 50 other countries to adopt similar frameworks. Recently, Hoskinson hinted at a possible collaboration between Cardano, Ripple, and ICP (Internet Computer Protocol).
