US Congressman William Timmons has created his own digital wallet using the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) in an effort to become familiar with the technology that enables financial sovereignty. Timmons added his wallet's custom address to his Twitter profile, stating that he wants to help solve the challenges facing the crypto industry. As a member of the Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Inclusion, he plans to collaborate with other lawmakers to pass crypto-related bills. Timmons previously introduced the New Frontiers in Technology Act, and his decision to add ".eth" to his profile was unrelated to recent bullish comments by Eric Trump.
