Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency markets have experienced a decline in price following a press conference held by David Sacks, the US crypto and AI czar. Investors were disappointed with the lack of confirmation regarding a Bitcoin-only strategic reserve. Sacks mentioned that they are exploring the feasibility of both a single-asset reserve and a "digital asset" stockpile. Sacks also stated that the primary focus would be on regulating stablecoins, with expectations of laws passing Congress within six months. Bitcoin's dominance is currently at a 4-year high, indicating that altcoins are struggling to keep up. While some exceptions exist, many altcoins have seen losses in their weekly performance.
