Corpay, a Ripple partner and business payments firm under the FLEETCOR brand, has recently announced it is collaborating with Sunflower Bank. By leveraging the technological prowess of Corpay, the bank's customers in the Mountain West and Southwest regions in the US will gain access to Corpay’s superior payment solutions – foreign exchange payment and risk management services.

Corpay has had a longstanding partnership with Ripple since October 2020 and is leveraging the network - RippleNet - to boost payments efficiency and reduce costs while transacting internationally. The terms of the recent Corpay and Sunflower Bank deal are not divulged, whether they too will utilize RippleNet or not, however, the partnership is expected to bring better convenience and faster processing times to businesses that require international payments.

The VP of Strategic Sales NA at Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, Andrew Heffernan, is quite pleased with the partnership and is looking forward to supporting all Sunflower Bank clients. Such agreements, that leverage the capabilities of RippleNet, serve to bolster the Ripple ecosystem and further Ripple’s global payments endeavor.

An example of this proposal in action came two months ago, when MFS Africa, another Ripple partner, joined forces with financial services leader Western Union, as it enabled its users to send and receive money via mobile wallets in Africa. Likewise, in January this year, SentBe – another Ripple partner – launched its payment services in the US.

The combination of global partnerships and network facilitate by RippleNet stands to benefit users of both Ripple services and the associated networks. As more organizations continue to join in, the RippleNet framework stands to benefit from global reach and availability in more jurisdictions.
