Crypto-backed spending in the Ohio Senate race between Sherrod Brown and Bernie Moreno has reached unprecedented levels, exceeding $170 million. Pro-crypto super PAC Defend American Jobs (DAJ) recently launched a $40.8 million television ad campaign supporting Moreno, who is a vocal advocate for cryptocurrencies. DAJ, backed by Coinbase and Ripple, aims to boost Moreno's profile and influence undecided voters. Brown, on the other hand, opposes cryptocurrencies and chairs the Senate Banking Committee overseeing crypto regulation. The DAJ PAC is the largest spender in the Ohio Senate race, investing over $130 million in key congressional contests this election cycle.
