Chromia has launched its decentralized storage solution, Filehub, on the platform's mainnet. Filehub allows users to securely store and access digital files on the Chromia blockchain. The platform emphasizes horizontal scaling and ensures that files are distributed in an unchangeable manner, providing data immutability. Storage fees are paid in Chromia's native token, CHR, with plans to reduce costs as the infrastructure grows. Filehub is suitable for applications requiring decentralized storage with security and immutability, such as NFTs and legal papers. The platform works through Filehub Blockchain and Filechain Blockchains, guaranteeing high availability and transparency of data. Fanzeal has already used Filehub, and Chromia hopes more projects will integrate its storage service.
