Moonveil, a gaming-focused Layer-2 (L2) blockchain platform, has announced a node sale and a $2 million investment from Polygon Labs. The node sale will make 50,000 nodes available to the Moonveil community. Polygon Labs has committed $1 million to drive the growth of projects integrated with the AggLayer within the Moonveil ecosystem. Moonveil's L2 network, built on Polygon CDK, will enhance cross-chain capabilities and provide opportunities for developers in Web3 gaming. The CEO of Polygon Labs emphasized the importance of Moonveil nodes in advancing the future of blockchain gaming. Moonveil plans to sell nodes in two phases, with activation scheduled for Q1 2025. The new Layer-2 network will support both first- and third-party games and utilize zero-knowledge-powered technology. Moonveil also plans to launch an L2 testnet backed by Polygon CDK and AggLayer.
