Sweatcoin, a move-to-earn platform, has launched an exciting campaign which will reward one lucky individual with $24,000 per year. All the winner needs to do is walk an average of 5000 steps a day, send a selfie to The Sweat Foundation every month and attend media interviews. To enter the draw, users need to have a valid Sweatcoin account and wallet and stake 25 SWEAT in the wallet, as well as pay a one-time opt-in fee of one SWEAT. The prize draw starts on April 3rd and ends on April 16th, and to qualify for the prize draw, users must not be based in US, China, Russia, Pakistan or any restricted locations according to Sweat’s terms and conditions. The reward will be paid out in monthly installments of 2000 USDC or USDT.

The Sweat Wallet App is currently not available for US citizens, but will roll out from September 12th. US citizens will thus be able entering the prize draw, but won't be able to transfer any tokens or keep them in custody.

An increasing number of platforms are offering crypto-based rewards for walkers, with StepN and StepWatch, who both reward users with NFTs, being among the most popular. Sweatcoin stands out as users don’t have to make any kind of initial payments to start using the app.

The Sweat Economy was funded with $13 million last year, conferred by investors such as Electric Capital, OKX Blockdream Ventures and GSR Ventures. Its goal is to introduce a healthier lifestyle by rewarding users with their own token, rightly called “airmiles for steps”.

Sweatcoin has now offered the chance to win an in-cash reward of $24,000 per year. To enter the draw, users from all eligible regions must download the Sweat Wallet App, stake 25 SWEAT and pay an opt-in fee of 1 SWEAT between April 3rd - 16th. The rewards will be allocated as 2000 USDC or USDT every month. Sweatcoin is paving the way to incentivise healthier living and rewarding those who live it.
