Ripple's partnership with the cross-border payments provider, Tranglo, has greatly boosted the usage of On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) service, one of Ripple's digital payment products. Ripple acquired a 40 percent stake in Tranglo and with this partnership, it was looking to meet the growing customer demand in the Asian region and expand the reach of its ODL solution, which utilizes the cryptocurrency XRP. Since the beginning of the partnership in 2021, Tranglo has successfully processed over $1 billion in ODL transactions.

ODL service continues to grow significantly in Latin America and other regions as well and Bitso, another major Ripple partner, reported that the product was instrumental in helping it to process more than $3.3 billion in transactions between the U.S. and Mexico in the year 2022.

For Ripple, the partnership with Tranglo meant not just increased market adoption of ODL, but also more sales of XRP. Recorded sales of XRP grew significantly during the last quarter and reached a high of $361.06 million, with ripple noting all sales were in tandem with ODL transactions.

The ODL product has played a key role in boosting Ripple's presence in the digital payments sector. With Ripple noting an increase in usage of its on-demand liquidity service, the partnership with Tranglo ought to be credited with offering a much-needed boost. Enhanced cross-border payment services, increased market adoption of ODL services, and more XRP sales all add evidence to Ripple's success through its partnership with Tranglo. Such a great achievement is also helpful in minimizing cross-border payment challenges, which are key in today's economy.
