Cryptocurrency has had a rough go in the last 24 hours, with Bitcoin (BTC) plunging to a 2-month low, erasing over $150 million in liquidations and significantly dragging down wider market capitalization. As BTC slid from the $27,500 range to $26,100, its market cap and dominance slipped to $510 billion and 46.3% respectively. Other altcoins plunged in tandem, with Ethereum (ETH) falling by $250 to a 6-week low and Binance Coin (BNB) nearing the $300 mark. XRP was the sole gainer, increasing by a marginal 0.1%. Gruelling losses were further exhibited by TON and LDO, both plummeting by 6%. The entire crypto market cap decreased by $40 billion, totalling to just over $1.1 trillion.
