Former Ripple director Sean McBride believes that a resolution to the Ripple-SEC case could come soon and that a settlement is more likely than a dismissal. He also expressed his opinion that Ripple and its executives deserve compensation. McBride suggested that a settlement could provide a more detailed resolution to the case. However, legal experts, including former SEC lawyer Marc Fagel, do not believe that a countersuit would succeed and stated that any resolution would likely be made public. They also noted that the case is not expected to be resolved within the week. Attorney Bill Morgan added that the finding that XRP is not a security is not being challenged in the case.
