Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Bitflyer will soon launch XRP crypto contracts for differences (CFDs), enabling leverage trading for traders. Currently, Bitflyer only offers CFDs for Bitcoin, but with this development, they will also include ETH and XRP. Bitflyer made the announcement on Twitter, stating that they aim to provide customers with a variety of investment opportunities. In line with this, Ripple has been working on bringing programmability to the XRP Ledger, with Web Assembly (WASM) being chosen as the ideal option for XRPL. This development is part of Ripple's incremental approach to programmability, with the launch of "Extensions" being the first step. The XRPL EVM sidechain will complement the XRPL but not replace mainnet programmability.
