PayPal plans to expand the use of its stablecoin, PYUSD, to more of its products, allowing millions of merchants to use it with the company's bill-pay product. Ripple's President, Monica Long, commented on the news, hinting at similarities between PayPal's move and Ripple's own stablecoin product launch in December. Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, aims to provide liquidity within the Ripple ecosystem and currently has a market cap of $125 million.
