Theta Labs has announced that Kangwon National University has joined its decentralized GPU network, Theta EdgeCloud. This partnership marks an important milestone for Theta EdgeCloud, as it now has over 85% GPU utilization rate across its global network. Kangwon National University will leverage Theta EdgeCloud to drive innovation in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and data mining. The university's Data Analytics & Machine Intelligence (DAMI) Lab will have access to Theta's decentralized GPU infrastructure, allowing for cost-effective and scalable AI computing power. The ultimate goal for Theta Labs is to expand its customer base, reach over 95% utilization rate, and have over 2 billion TFUEL tokens locked through its elite edge node operators.
