SlowMist has discovered a critical security flaw in a popular encryption library used in crypto wallets and other applications. The vulnerability allows hackers to extract private keys by manipulating inputs, potentially giving them control over digital assets or identity credentials. This flaw occurs when a unique random number is mistakenly reused, allowing attackers to reverse engineer the private key. Similar vulnerabilities in the past have resulted in significant security breaches, such as the Anyswap protocol losing $8 million.
