The number of active whale addresses on the XRP network has declined by 50% over the past three months, according to crypto analyst Ali Martinez. The decrease in whale addresses coincides with a drop in XRP transaction volume and utilization of the network, potentially indicating a cooling phase in demand for the cryptocurrency. However, on February 25, there was a surge in transaction activity on the XRP network. Ripple recently announced a partnership with South Korean company BDACS for XRP and RLUSD custody services, which is expected to help with institutional cryptocurrency adoption in the Asia-Pacific region.
