SenseiNode, a staking firm, is aiming to bring geographic and jurisdictional decentralization to Latin America by setting up validator infrastructure for Proof-of-Stake networks like Ethereum and Solana. Previously, the majority of nodes were located in Europe, the US, and Asia, but SenseiNode is working to spread out the infrastructure. The company operates in various Latin American countries, as well as the US and Germany, using local and regional data centers to avoid centralization. SenseiNode is taking on an educational role in some cases to help build infrastructure in Latin America. The costs and requirements for running nodes differ depending on the protocol, with Ethereum being more expensive to handle for SenseiNode than Solana.
