Crypto gaming franchise Pixelverse is set to release a new tactical deck builder game called MemeBattle. The game will feature playable characters based on popular cryptocurrency memes, including mascots of meme coins from Base network. Players will be able to build squads using these meme coin-based characters and compete in battles for rewards. The game is set to launch in January with 10 playable meme coin characters. Pixelverse has received funding from Gate.io's $50 million Meme Fund and backing from venture capital firms such as Delphi Ventures and Mechanism Capital. The game will be built on Base, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling network launched by Coinbase.
