Tech giants NVIDIA and Intel are reportedly planning to integrate the Hedera blockchain (or hashgraph) into their chip manufacturing processes in order to comply with EU AI regulations. In collaboration with EQTY Lab, the companies have introduced Verifiable Compute, a hardware-based solution that aims to enhance trust and verification in AI systems. The solution is designed to ensure that AI data and computations are tamper-proof and traceable, utilizing secure hardware infrastructure to generate cryptographic certificates. The integration with Hedera blockchain will create an immutable ledger of AI computations and enable organizations to automate AI auditing and enforce governance policies in line with regulatory requirements.
